Friday, June 11, 2010 - 3:30-5 pm (1 hr 30 min)
Advancement of prehospital care on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan is pushing a new approach to EMS. How should these experiences be implemented in the streets of EMS here at home? This lecture will look at some of the hot topics of tourniquet use, hemostatic agents and rearranging our ABC’s to CAB, and many others with an interactive discussion.
1. Briefly describe military Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
2. What should be adopted into the “Streets of EMS”?
